Rural FQHC Leveraged Enabli Health’s Clinical Assistants for a Successful Care Team Redesign

A federally qualified health center (FQHC) sought to improve their current care teams by expanding their existing partnership with HealthChannels and adding new allied health roles offered by Enabli Health, a HealthChannels brand. By redesigning their care teams and existing workflows and adding virtual support, the Idaho health center was able to create a more effective care team that reduces provider burdens.

Unrealized Potential at the Care Team Level

After reviewing workflows with the Enabli Health team, the FQHC added 12 Virtual Clinical Assistants to its team. These Virtual Clinical Assistants support a broader range of responsibilities by leveraging Speke AI for documentation, enabling each assistant to provide a wider scope of support.

The new care team design has enabled the FQHC to focus on care gap closure, targeting improved scores in several key areas, including substance use disorders and depression admissions.

Enabli Health’s allied health team members have driven improvements in these scores across all four locations, making it the third-ranked FQHC in the nation for compliance. Thanks to their partnership with HealthChannels and Enabli Health, this redesign has resulted in a more flexible and resilient care team that drives further success.
